Penelope Smallbone: Never Forget

In an odd scene from Octopussy, Maxwell’s storied Moneypenny character introduces Roger Moore’s James Bond to her assistant, Penelope Smallbone. Smallbone is of course smitten with Bond and his charm, but the scene would become rather inconsequential in the series – the Smallbone character never appeared again.
Maxwell returned in A View to a Kill (1985) and was replaced in The Living Daylights (1987) with Caroline Bliss.
