Believe it or not, in the above GIF from Diamonds Are Forever (1971), the guy being forcefully interrogated of Blofeld’s location actually articulately responds with “Cairo!” despite the lack of mouth movement. Some poor dubbing!
Which would you prefer?

Sean Connery as James Bond in…On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969)?!

George Lazenby as James Bond in…Diamonds Are Forever (1971)?!

In Diamonds Are Forever (1971), Tiffany Case (Jill St. John) shows off the tape of the World’s Greatest Marches in her bathing suit, while Ace Ventura rests his case.
Sorry, this DAF scene reminded me of Ace Ventura!
Sir Sean Connery has died at the age of 90. He was the first actor to play James Bond on the big screen in Dr. No in 1962, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever followed. pic.twitter.com/VaFPHCM5Ou

Sean Connery is and always will be the best and my favorite actor to portray James Bond. My favorite James Bond movie may change periodically, but I’ll always point to Connery’s iconic introduction scene from Dr. No as the true definition of James Bond. RIP.

A mud bath in the beginning of Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
Ugh…was this mud scene really necessary to show Blofeld’s physical changes? I would’ve settled for a plastic surgery operating room!
James Bond (Sean Connery) mentions this weird item in a saying I’ve never heard of in Diamonds Are Forever (1971).
Leading up to this quote, Bond is gassed and captured by Blofeld after breaking into his penthouse. Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd get a second shot of disposing of James Bond (hence their “try, try again” musing), transporting an unconscious 007 to a desert construction site. It’s another scene where Wint and Kidd just feel creepy, with odd mannerisms and curt interactions. They seem to be laughing and almost giddy as they drive to dispose of Bond’s body. Are they high?!
